We’re thrilled to introduce a stunning natural-processed coffee from Tolima, Colombia—our first time working with this coffee, and we couldn’t be more excited.

This lot comes from a community of dedicated farming families in Tolima, a region known for its high mountains, fresh climate, and volcanic soil—perfect conditions for cultivating exceptional coffee. Many of these farmers have been refining their natural processing methods since 2019, and today, at least 80% of their harvest is processed this way, bringing out the most vibrant and complex flavors.

This particular coffee is made up of the Caturra variety, a natural mutation of Red Bourbon that originated in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Caturra is known for its high yield and resilience while still maintaining the rich sweetness Bourbon is famous for. After careful selection, the finest cherries are dried on raised beds or concrete patios under the sun. Throughout the drying process, the farmers’ quality control teams meticulously monitor moisture levels, turning the cherries four times a day to ensure even exposure. This careful attention to detail helps develop the unique character, complexity, and rich aroma that define this coffee.

Tolima has long been recognized as one of Colombia’s premier coffee-growing regions, consistently earning a place in the prestigious Cup of Excellence. We’re honored to work with these producers for the first time and can’t wait for you to experience this incredible coffee.
