Ella

Guatemalan Coffee From Women-Owned Farms

ELLA - A coffee supporting the women producers of Guatemala.

70% of all coffee farm workers in the world are female including Guatemala where women are the majority labor force on coffee farms, from picking to export.

Despite their unmeasurable value... female producers are subject to limited commercial access, discrimination and even violence.

Yet still, these women farmers find a way.

Against the odds they have forged their own paths for their families through their coffee farms.

We applaud them and are beyond excited to support them commercially.

Which brings us to ELLA - Women Producers of Guatemala. ELLA is a green coffee blend that brings together these amazing woman producers into one consistent and delicious coffee we import and roast here at Bear Coast.

The ELLA blend will be a curation of women-produced lots, with a brown sugary sweetness, full creamy body, orange and berries, pleasant nuttiness, classic crowd-pleasing vibes all around.
