This french press is the answer to all the concerns we've ever had about this brew method.
Most french press coffee makers have these three main problems:
1. Poor filtration. The straining screens on other press pots have a tendency to bend and allow far too many grounds in the final cup.
2. Heat loss. The single-layer glass design of the classic french press allows a lot of heat to be lost during the brew process. And less heat means poorer extraction and sour coffee.
3. They break. Glass breaks. I can't tell you how many brewers i have had to replace over the years due to their fragile design.
