Bali Kintamani Natural is sourced from family-owned farms in the volcanic highlands of Kintamani, Bali, Indonesia. Here, coffee grows among citrus trees on the slopes of Mount Agung, where rich volcanic soils and cool mountain air help produce bright, vibrant cups. Producers are organized through Subak Abian, a traditional cooperative system rooted in ecological harmony and community stewardship. Whole ripe cherries are dried naturally on raised beds, a practice shaped by both tradition and the region’s limited water resources, resulting in a richly expressive profile.
This lot features a blend of Bourbon (S795 & USDA 762), Typica, and Catimor varietals grown between 1200–1600 m.a.s.l. The combination of volcanic loam soil, semi-forest shade, and the ancient Subak Abian farming philosophy creates a cup that is both bright and complex.
The result is a lively, fruit-forward coffee that opens with mango and grapefruit brightness, deepens into molasses-like sweetness, and finishes with warming cinnamon chocolate richness and a smooth, balanced body — a profile that is both distinctive and endlessly drinkable.
