The Bear Coast 67 Summer Kickoff

June 7th is 6/7.

And that was apparently all the justification we needed.

This Sunday we're celebrating the start of summer with what we're calling the Bear Coast 67 Summer Kickoff. If you're wondering where the name came from, congratulations—you already understand the entire planning process.

The truth is that this event started the same way many things do around Bear Coast: someone had an idea, everyone laughed, and somehow it became reality.

In this case, the idea came from a combination of our staff and my kids. They informed me that jean shorts were apparently cool again. I resisted this information for as long as I could. Unfortunately, I was outnumbered.

So now we're launching a limited run of Bear Coast-branded jean shorts.

To make things even more ridiculous, we're also offering 10% off any order for customers wearing jean shorts on June 7th.

No coupon code.

No secret handshake.

Just denim.

And because every generation has trends that make older people feel confused, we'll also have gummy bear squishies available in the cafes while supplies last.

At Bear Coast, we've always believed coffee shops should be places that bring people together. Sometimes that's through meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and community.

Other times it's through a promotion built entirely around the fact that June 7th is 6/7.
