Did you know?
Coffee is 98% water, and without clean water, there’s no coffee. Coffee farmers and their families are vital to the coffee we enjoy every day, but many of them lack access to clean drinking water.
- National Coffee Day is Sunday, September 29th.
- International Coffee Day is Tuesday, October 1st.

This Coffee Gives Life: Clean Water Partnership Update
Each year, nearly 1,000,000 people die from a lack of access to clean water, and coffee farmers are among those most affected. That’s why Bear Coast Coffee is proud to partner with One Atta Time to bring clean, life-saving water to these farmers, who have gone without it for far too long.
Thanks to our partnership, Bear Coast Coffee’s community has helped provide clean water to 110 families—more than any other coffee partner! This access not only saves lives but brings hope and stability to those who cultivate the coffee we all enjoy.
I, Jeff, had the chance to visit Jorge and his farm and witnessed firsthand the difference clean water makes. The children, once struggling with illness and malnutrition, were running around with the same energy and joy as my own kids. Parents, who had spent years battling dehydration and frequent clinic visits, finally had peace knowing their families were healthier and safer.
But this is just the beginning—there are many more families in need.
