BEAR COAST LAGUNA BEACH LOCATION UPDATE

For the past 2.5 years, Laguna Beach has been something truly special for us. The people, the puppies, the creativity—this town has a heartbeat that you can feel the moment you walk in.

From the very beginning of Bear Coast, we’ve believed coffee is bigger than competition—it’s about community. That’s looked like cheering on our friends at True Love Coffee, getting early support from ben at Hidden House Coffee so I could take a rare weekend off in the early days, learning from Annie at High Tide Coffee back in my Peet's Coffee days, and spending time with friends at the incredible spaces built by Rapport Coffee.

That same mindset is what led us here.

When the opportunity came to pass this space on to people we trust—while allowing our team to recenter after years of growth—it felt right.

Our last day operating our Laguna Beach café will be April 14.

Starting April 15, this space will be in the hands of our friends at SUR Coffee. Many of our team will be staying on, and we can’t wait to see what they build here.
